iSubpoena Update
Updated On: Nov 08, 2018

Members,

Thank you for your responses regarding being subpoenaed after entering your conflicts into iSubpoea. I forwarded them to the Assistant Chief of the DA Investigators (they are in charge of the subpoena process at the DA’s Office). I then had a second phone conversation with him regarding our expectations of the process and problems we are experiencing.

Yesterday, I was contacted by one of the lead Witness Coordinators and we discussed the issues again. I was told the DA’s Office is planning additional internal trainings regarding the iSubpoena process. We discussed short term ideas they had to assist with this problem, as well as long term plans (such as them putting a witness coordinator in every courtroom).

There surely will be growing pains with this new system, however, the DA’s office is working to try to iron out the wrinkles. In the mean time, please keep putting all your conflicts (vacation, trainings, etc.) into iSubpoena.

We will continue to monitor this issue.  If you have any questions or want any additional information please let me know.
